Fire Alarm Systems

The Regulatory Reform Order (fire safety) 2005 requires that premises must be equipped with appropriate fire detection and alarms. Automatic fire detection is also necessary in certain circumstances such as premises with sleeping accommodation.

Fire alarm systems are installed to protect both people and property. Everyone depends on this system functioning properly in the event of a fire, acting as an early warning system and enabling safe and timely evacuation. You have a legal obligation to ensure that this detection system is in good working order and adheres to current regulatory standards.

We can advise you on the level of protection you require, design, install commission and maintain the system for you.

Maintenance Schedule

Installation of your fire alarm system is the start of the journey of protecting your people and premises, but regular maintenance is required to ensure that in the event of a fire, everything works as it should.

The maintenance schedule requirements we provide for our clients is 100% of the installation to be tested annually. This is usually done through 2-4 visits per year, testing 25% to 50% of detector heads on each visit, but this is all depending on the size of the premises.

If you have an existing system that needs some maintenance or have any questions at all please reach out and we will be more than happy to help.
